Xmas in July at Roberta’s house. July 18^th 6.30 for 7.00pm .Roberta is happy to do a Christmas Meal (and she’s a bloody good cook!) for a donation of $5.It will be bring a $10 gift to swop. Queenie will provide the drink (but you can bring more if want)

Now I know Christmas is a loooong way away but I have made a royal decision to join the Highland Highness at the Bentley TAFE for their Christmas dinner in 2008. It cost $35 a head but this is what you get.

Pre-dinner drinks from 6.30 – 7pm then the dinner was sorbet noodle salad, roast capsicum and tomato soup, roast turkey and seasonal vegs, plum pudding and brandy sauce, coffee and homemade chocolates plus as much wine and port as you can consume, all for $35.

It will be Thursday 4^th Dec I need a $5 deposit as I am holding 20 places, (if you have to cancel nearer the time this can be refunded) and this needs to paid before the end of Feb.

Also for Christmas I have booked for the Tivoli Christmas Show of Friday 12^th Dec. (no deposit as yet)

It would be good to know who thinks they would like to come to that just in case I have unbooked, this costs $15 which includes chicken and chips, cheese and biscuits, tea and coffee, BYO alcohol.

We have made it a requirement of joining the Roos that you ‘handle’ or assist in handling one event a year, so please do your bit.

Hatter Natter

We will have regular Hatter Natters, one in the day and one in the evening. The purpose of these are to get to know one another, raise funds through raffles, and discuss ‘handing events’ If you don’t have email it’s a good idea to come to a Hatter Natter so you now what is going on but we will buddy you up with someone that has email to help the process.
